The end of 8th grade, we will go to Xian 西安 with other Chinese immersion students at Utah, so start to save the money. :) The state are not sure about how much yet, but it is always good to start save now. :)

Why learn Chinese?
Yes. It is a very hard language, but I know you can do it. It will benefit your future a lot even though you may not see it now. If you study and pass more tests now, you can take less class at college and have a lot more fun at college. Chinese is an economic language. You will get a better job and people more likely to hire you because you know the language well.

Why there are two kind of Chinese sometimes on the website?
China is using simplify characters which is the kind we had been learning at elementary, and simplify characters come from the traditional characters. I thought it is fun to show both characters when I can so students can see the differences.
